Community Programs

Being a good neighbor is part of our mission at American Water. We are dedicated to Tennessee and do make sure we show it.

We give back to the community by supporting local schools and organizations like the United Way and the Tennessee Aquarium. We support innovative, environmental programs that improve, protect or restore drinking water supplies and surrounding watersheds, as well educate Tennesseans about the value and importance of water.

The Tennessee Aquarium

Project Water Help is a financial program provided by our customers by adding $1 to their bill payment.  This money is used to help those in need.  A customer needing help can contact United Way 211 and they will be directed to the proper agency.
